    Kalabsha temple:

    The great temple of Kalabsha ( 72 x 35.5 M ), was re-erected on the west bank close to the Aswan High Dam to prevent it sinking beneath the waters of Nasser Lake, 50 Km to the south. The complex was dedicated to the local Nubian god Mandulis, whose cult has only been traced back as far as the Potlemaic era.

    Beit El Wali and the kiosk of Kertassi:

    the small rock-hewn temple of Beit El Wali situated close behind the temple of Kalabsha, is another shrine rescued from the the floodwaters of the reservoir, this modest construction was built during the early years of Ramesses II's reign.

    In New sebua there are also a number of shrines that were moved to a place of safety from the floodwaters of Lake Nasser, At the center of the present day ensemble of temples stands the Wadi es-Sebue complex of Ramesses II, built for the ruler by the viceroy of Nubia, Setau, in the fourth decade of the pharaoh's reign.

    the temple of el-Dakka was originally positioned 40 Km north of its present site . its building history begins with Meroitic king Arkamani II and his younger contemporary, ptolemy IV and extends up to the early imperial Roman period to Augusts and Tiberius. The shrine was dedicated to the local god thoth of Pnubs and his spouse, the goddess Tefnut.

    The temole of Amada is another of the Nubian buildings that were rescued, It was built or extended by three great pharaohs of the Eighteenth Dynasty . Thutmosis III, Amenophis II, and Thutmosis IV and dedicated to the gods Re-Horakhtyand Amun-Re.

    The temple of Ed-Derr:

    New Amada is also where the rock temple of ed-Derr , built by Ramesses II, was reconstructed .Today, this temple consist merely of two large pillared halls and a sanctuary with side chambers .

    The Temples of Abu Simbel:

    The two rock temples of Abu Simbel are located around 40 Km north of the Sudanese border on the west bank of the modern reservoir (Lake Nasser) .Originally hewn into the cliffs of the Nile riverbank, these two temples, were rediscovered buried in sand by the Swiss traveler Johann L. Burckhardt in 1813. Ramesses II dedicated the lager temple to the national gods Re-Horakhty, Amun-Re, Ptah and his own divine self. The so-called Small temple dedicated bu Ramesses II to his wife Nefertari and the goddess Hathor, was constructed slightly further north from main temple.
